Dr. Oliver Hinton BDS, MJDF (RCS Eng), PG Dip. (Endodontics), MSc. (Restorative), FCGDent.

​​​Following graduation from Newcastle University Dental School and RAF College Cranwell Dr. Hinton led dental teams for 8 years as an Royal Air Force Senior Dental Officer in Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire, Suffolk, the Falkland Islands and the West Midlands.  He subsequently worked as a General Dental Practitioner in Cheshire and Manchester and a visiting clinician in multiple dental practices. He joins the team as the Principal Dentist of King Street Dental Practice, Knutsford and offers a wide range of treatments to his patients including high quality, preventative and minimal intervention general dentistry, advanced aesthetic restorative dentistry, fixed and aligner orthodontic treatments (tooth straightening including Invisalign) and he has a Special Interest in Endondontics (root canal treatments).

Dr. Hinton was awarded a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry with Distinction, winning the overall prize for most outstanding student in his cohort. He has also been awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Endodontics with Merit.

Oli is passionate about dentistry and plays an active part of the dental community. Following his MSc, he was retained as a member of the Birmingham University Restorative Masters faculty where he holds the post of Clinical Dental Tutor which involves teaching restorative dentistry, examining and supporting students in their post-graduate studies. He is also a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry.

In his spare time, Oli enjoys cooking, travelling and playing and watching sport. He has lived in Knutsford with his wife Lucinda since 2019 and they have a young son called Charlie.
