Following the updated Covid-19 advice from the Prime Minister on Monday 23rd March, The King Street Dental Practice is closed for face to face contact with patients for the next 3 weeks.

Today, we have received further advice from the Chief Dental Officer (CDO) of England that states the following:

All routine, non-urgent dental care should be stopped and deferred until further notice

All practices should establish a remote urgent care service, providing telephone triage for their patients with urgent needs during normal working hours, and wherever possible treating with:

  • Advice
  • Analgesia (painkillers)
  • Antimicrobial means where appropriate (antibiotics)

If you have an URGENT concern regarding your dental health, please contact the practice on 01565 632343 and listen carefully to the message which will direct you to a mobile telephone number

If the patient’s condition cannot be managed by these means, then they will need to be referred to the appropriate part of their Local Urgent Dental Care System – ¬†We are still awaiting details of where and how this system will operate and will update the website as soon as these details are received.

We kindly request that only patients needing emergency advice leave messages on our answerphone.

We wish all our patients well and hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you once this crisis is over.
