Boris Johnson announced some easing of the current lockdown restrictions on Monday 11th May. However, there is still no indication for when Dental Practices will be able to re-open. There are meetings organised with the Chief Dental Officer, The British Dental Association, The Care Quality Commission and Public Health England to plan a strategy for the re-opening of Dental Practices.

Initially, the scope of ‘treatment’ that we will be able to provide is likely to be extremely limited and will be dependent upon the availability of the correct PPE – there is a worldwide shortage of this at present.
